Apace SS2000 Cluster Server series is one of the highest performance enterprise class servers with large and high speed storage direct access. It is designed for heavy computational tasks dealing large amount of data like rendering and 3D graphics applications.  The product is based on the latest Linux 64 technology offering end-to-end 64 bit architecture in an AMD quad dual-core Opteron CPU configuration. Offering 16GB of solid state cache memory and switch based I/O bus architecture supporting Hyper Transport, PCI Express and PCIx busses, it assures adherence to open standards as well as unprecedented computational, I/O power and disk access bandwidth at the same time.  The compact single 4U 19” rackmount chassis configuration comprises of an enterprise class built with redundancy for hot-swap power, fans and hard disks.  This platform is ideal for media applications like rendering, animation, graphics and game development.  As a building block of a computer cluster, the unit offered interconnectivity through Multi Gigabit Ethernet ports and compatible with MS DFS and Active Directory. SS2000 offers Linux interoperability with a multitude of applications and can be expanded with additional peripherals and application software.
