Take control with EUCON
With Artist Transport, you gain deep, integrated control over your favorite creative applications, such as Pro Tools, Media Composer, Logic, Nuendo, Cubase, Maestro, and more. EUCON carries high-resolution control information for faders, knobs, displays, and more between Artist Transport and whatever application is in focus on your computer. This enables you to quickly switch between multiple applications—and even workstations—at the touch of a button, with all controls and displays automatically matching the selected application.
High-resolution, high-speed control

With 8x the resolution and 250x the speed of MIDI, EUCON gives you powerful, highly responsive tactile control that feels like mixing on a professional mixing console.
|
Work with multiple applications

Control multiple workstations
|
Access any workstation running EUCON-enabled software on your extended network, with keyboard and mouse commands automatically forwarded to the selected workstation—ideal for multi-workstation workflows and facilities with machine rooms.
|
Customize for your needs
|
Connect multiple Artist Series controllers to function as one extended control surface or use them independently, and customize the controls to meet your needs. Set control sensitivity, lock fader channels to session tracks as "Layouts" that save with the project, and more.

Get precision control
From navigation to fine editing, the weighted, optically encoded data wheel puts a host of functionality at your fingertips with the responsiveness and feel of a high-end console data wheel. Navigate your timeline, edit clips, and tweak parameters with precision.
Use the Soft Keys to assign various functions to the data wheel on the fly. And perform everything from basic jogging to zooming horizontally or vertically, trimming clip heads and tails, setting clip gain, crossfading clips, and more.
Speed up navigation and more
Effortlessly shuttle through your timeline using the optically encoded, springloaded shuttle ring. The rubberized surface provides excellent tactile control, and like the data wheel, you can switch the shuttle ring functionality on the fly using the Soft Keys for quick custom control.
Trigger custom actions
Instantly perform application functions, keystroke shortcuts, and macro commands using the six Soft Keys. Take a series of repetitive keyboard shortcuts that you use for editing and assign them to a single Soft Key.Assign various functions to the data wheel and shuttlering on the fly.
Assign various functions to the data wheel and shuttlering on the fly. Effortlessly navigate your application menus and more—all without your hands ever leaving the controller. And when you use the Shift key together with any of these six Soft Keys (as well as the transport and numeric keys), you gain another 29 Soft Keys that you can program to gain fast access to your most frequently used functions.
Artist Transport intelligently recognizes the current application in focus. Each application has an associated Application Set, which automatically loads the appropriate Soft Keys whenever you switch apps. Artist Transport ships with preprogrammed Soft Keys for most popular audio and video applications but you can easily create your own custom Soft Keys for your needs.
Enter data quickly
Using the integrated numeric keypad, you can instantly jump to time code or marker locations, as well as edit parameters by entering numbers. Like the transport controls, you can have all 16 numeric keys function as programmable Soft Keys when you use them with the Shift key. Press the Show Key on the numeric keypad to display the function of any Soft Key.
Control playback with ease
Play, rewind, fast forward, set markers, and more using the seven ergonomic keys set around the data wheel. You can view the status of each key through the multi-color LEDs, and easily program the functionality of each using the Soft Key editor. These controls automatically switch to match whatever application is in focus, and when used in conjunction with the Shift key, you get additional Soft Keys to program custom navigation and editing functions.
Customize your control surface
Because Artist Series controllers are modular, you can combine them in a variety of configurations to suit your workflow. Customize your Artist Series system with up to one Artist Control, four Artist Mixes, one Artist Transport, and one Artist Color for total flexibility—up to 36 faders total. Simply clip the units together to form a seamless surface—or use them separately—as each has its own Ethernet connection.
